{Real Wedding} Chelsea & Mark

Chelsea and Mark are just about the cuttest couple that one could imagine! They decided to have a destination wedding with 50 of their loved ones in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. Our favorite wedding details included a bouquet laden beach cruiser, a hand crafted paper flower art instillation, garden fresh Mason jar bouquets and little bike themed burlap coffee bags.

See, we told you that they are adorable! Thanks to Julie Comfort of Comfort Studio for the amazing photojournalistic images. For those who would like to re-create our DIY hanging paper flower project, we are currently working on an instructional video and should have that ready in the coming months.

Chelsea & Patrick’s Rustic Farm Wedding

On a humble little farm, far away from the trappings of the city, Chelsea and Patrick were wed. We were fortunate to have some beautiful peonies, garden rose, hosta, and fresh rasberries just coming on at our floral farm in Skagit Valley. Our good friend and photographer Eldad Efendi was there to capture all of the rustic details. His vintage photography style really works well with this type of event. We hope that you enjoy.

Real Wedding :: Heather & Matt

For those that follow us on facebook, you are aware the we were featured on Style Me Pretty last week with this lovely wedding. I wanted to give you a little bit more backstory on one of our favorite events of last wedding season. Ever since our first meeting, it was clear that Heather was a bride with a plan. She came to our floral meetings with pages and pages of design inspiration and, since she is a local Bellingham fashionista, I knew right away that we were going to create something unique and special together. The wedding was held at the country home of the parents of the groom. The 10 acre location had a small pond, dreamy wheat fields (LOVE) and plenty of space for their group. Our good friend and talented Bellingham wedding photographer, Eldad Efendi, did an amazing job capturing all of the lovely vintage details of the day. It was truly a challenge for us to narrow down our favorites for this post.

Costa Rica Wedding with Vintage Details

We recently got the chance to work with our good friends Jessica and Jason, photographers for A Brit and A Blonde on a destination wedding in Playa Tamarindo. Crystal and Daniel are a lovely couple from Steamboat Springs, CO. Being former mountain people ourselves, we could completely relate to this couple’s down to earth approach to planning a wedding: Make it Simple and Make it Beautiful. Crystal was looking for rustic and vintage inspired details so we incorporated beach glass Mason Jars, jute burlap and driftwood.

We hope that you enjoyed this wedding. We look forward to many, many more at this mountaintop villa location.

Playa Tamarindo Wedding :: Leslie & Paul

This sweet couple from Kingston, Ontario decided to celebrate their love in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Since the bride Leslie, is also a wedding planner, we knew that this event was going to be very detailed and incredibly organized. For this event, we incorporated some of our favorite local blooms like bee hive ginger, orchids, and baby pineapple blooms . Thanks to Jonathan from Costa Vida Photography for these beautiful images from their big day.
