Real Wedding :: Lake Crescent Lodge, WA
It's Monday! Oh how it comes so quickly. Another great wedding week has come and gone, not to soon be forgotten. There are a couple of details from this wedding that we wanted to show you. First off, the LOCATION. wow. Below the noble fir and hemlock trees, legendary in the Pacific Northwest, David & Danielle found a lakeside retreat perfect for their homegrown style, intimate wedding.
Picture a perfectly aqua, glistening, mountain lake in the backdrop. Mountains were towering above the tree line in every direction and a quaint historic lakeside lodge stood nearby. It was one of those weddings where the guests probably arrived and just let out a little sigh. So romantic!
Adding to the sweetness of this homegrown style affair, all of the ladies in the wedding party held pastel, vintage garden floral designs. It was one of the last events where we were able to harvest many of the blooms from our Four Winds floral farm, due to the changing seasons. Garden roses, dahlias, dusty miller, skabiosia, and sedum were among the blooms chosen by the bride. Danielle also had dainty sola wooden roses added to her bridal bouquet. Wooden accents became one of the design elements that linked many of the details.
There was something really special about this wedding. It was elegant, it was rustic, and captured the best of the Pacific Northwest. We loved being a part of it. Thanks so much Danielle & David, and congratulations!
